One of my FAVORITE websites...and there is a sale!!!

If you have not heard me blab about one of the MOST adorable websites for baby clothes, listen now.

www.shopbabytrends.com

They carry a TON of stuff - boys and girls, baby, toddler, and little kids sizes too. They carry Flowers by Zoe, Ed Hardy, Lipstick Girls, Baby Nay, Baby Sara, and over 40 more brands. I have bought some really cute things from this website and I have been very happy with their customer service. There is free shipping if you spend over $50. I have bought some cute gifts there as well.

And now, the best part...they have 25% off a bunch of stuff but only until tomorrow. You must check it out and get your kiddies ready for spring, summer, or get a jump start on next year with some amazing buys on winter clothes. If you are interested in an item, they will usually tell you in the description if it runs small or big. If you are not sure, just send them an email and they get back to you quickly with good info on how the item runs.

Happy shopping!!!

Its Spring Time at the Gap

Even in my "high fashion" days, I always had around 1/4 of the my wardrobe from the Gap. I don't always love the adult clothes but there are some seasons where Olivia has almost every look they feature on their website. For their early spring line, there is a yoga collection. I first saw it online and I thought, "okay, that is cute." But then, I saw it in the store and I snatched up the last size 2 gray pants and size 3 matching tank. The material is rayon, polyester, and spandex and it may be the type of fabric that pills after one wash, but I am willing to risk it. It is so soft and super cute.

Check out the yoga line:

Of course, the Gap is very reliable with their jeans. The toddler girl skinny jeans (size 1 to 5 years) are a staple in Olivia's wardrobe. This season they also have some cute wider leg styles. Check out the Patch Pocket Wide leg jeans (Liv is wearing them with the brown shirt/purple stars in the picture from my first post) and the Faded Boot Cut jeans (I saw these today in the store and the wash is perfect).

I know it is early to be thinking about spring but we will be playing outside in the park before we know it and I must make sure Liv is looking as cute as ever!!

Endless...

I have found some GREAT buys and some adorable styles for Olivia and myself from Endless.com. I like to shop online but there are two things I hate about it. First, I hate paying shipping. Second, I hate waiting for the package. Endless.com has free overnight shipping. It is the closest thing to instant gratification you can get from shopping online. To make things even better, I think the website is run by Amazon so like Amazon, the customer service is amazing. They also have free returns for up to 1 year after the shoes are purchased (free return shipping, too!).

Some great brands they sell for kids are Jumping Jacks (comfy and cute basic styles - Liv wore a pair of white sandals by JJ ALL summer), Noel (stylish and cute boots), Ecco (yes - they sell them for kids), Puma (check out the Drift Cat II Diamonds sneaker),
Lelli Kelly (for a little bling), Pediped (for pre-walkers/early walkers; check out the Olivia style), and a ton more.

Wash inside out, do not dry, lay flat, etc

Am I the only one who only buys clothes for herself that can be dried but hangs her 18 month old's clothes up to dry? If you look in my laundry room at any given time, you will see the little fashionista's clothes on little baby hangers all over the place. My Old Navy t-shirts are wrinkled in the dryer and her Flowers by Zoe shirt is hanging over the dryer. Can anyone empathize?

Birthday Dress!!

I don't know what it is about tie-dye but Olivia can rock it. While her birthday isn't until July, I saw this dress and had to get it. Now I just have to find some shoes :-)

Flowers by Zoe Tie-Dye Dress, Nordstrom

Shoes, shoes, shoes

I used to work a shoe company - you may have seen it on Sex and the City. Needless to say, I love shoes. After an injury to my foot, I can only wear boring, supportive flats. It is really hard for a girl with BEAUTIFUL shoes to not be able to wear them! So what do I do? I buy shoes for Olivia.

A must this season - sparkly sneakers. I personally love the glitter Converse Chuck Taylor sneakers. Liv has a pair in purple and she just loves to put them on. They have elastic laces so they go on easily. I also love the silver ones. I bought a pair of silver ones for her for next season. I also love Skechers Twinkle Toes sneakers. They have some bling on the toes with a fun, bright pattern on the side. The toddler sizes have velcro and elastic so they are really easy to put on and off. Nordstrom sells both of these shoes.

A desire this season - Uggs. They still have not gone out of style and while I like them for myself, I have never seen anything cuter than a toddler in a pair of beige Uggs. Get a pair of skinny jeans from the Gap or leggings and a tunic and you will just PLOTZ!!!!

Baby Jogger City Select

So, I registered for a Pliko P3 when I was pregnant after reading the good reviews I read in a certain frugal baby bible. After something fell off the stroller during the first week, I regretted my choice. But since it is an expensive purchase, I thought it was ridiculous to even think about getting a new one...that is until I thought about having another baby. I will have to get some sort of double stroller but I don't really want one of those "double wide" strollers. I can barely get my single stroller through the baby and toddler section at Nordstrom!

First, I discovered that the Uppa Baby Vista has an additional seat you can add on. It looks sort of uncomfortable and awkward, not to mention it would run close to $1000. A sales guy in Buy Buy Baby told me to be on the lookout for a new stroller by Baby Jogger called City Select. It was supposed to be in stores a few weeks ago but it has still not arrived!!! I cannot wait to see this stroller in person. If you want to see a video about it, click the link below. It looks AMAZING and costs a few hundred dollars less than the Uppa Baby. Tell me what you think!

Welcome!

Hello mommy's out there. I am 30 years old and have one daughter named Olivia. We live in the burbs in NJ. We used to live in NYC...then we got married, bought a house, blah blah blah. Fast forward three + years...we have our first baby, Olivia Mazie. She was born in July, 2008. She is a toddler in every sense of the word...fully of energy and loves to have fun. She is always the center of attention and if for some reason she isn't, she will make sure that your eyes are on her!

The only thing I love more than shopping and dressing Liv is Liv herself. I am starting this blog to just let other moms out there like me where to find cute clothes, my opinions on baby products, and other things about mommyhood. I look forward to hearing your opinions and suggestions!
